Katydid on Collard Leaf
This grasshopper katydid was very good natured. It let me take plenty of shots of it this afternoon. I'm looking forward to picking up my macro lens. I'll looking forward to getting closer shots of insects.

This is actually a katydid. My four year old daughter looked at the photo and said, "Mommy that's a katydid!" She was correct. Intetestingly enough I had pointed out a different katydid to her about three weeks ago. She is a very smart girl.
